Visit Abu Dhabi and explore the capital of the UAE on this tour from Dubai. Experience the contrast between old traditions and the new, modern Abu Dhabi with its impressive skyscrapers. Visit Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world.
This full-day tour provides an overview of the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the island on which it is located. Your driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Dubai at around 08:30 and then when you arrive in Abu Dhabi, will guide you around the largest city in the UAE.
In Abu Dhabi, you’ll stop first at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, having a capacity of 30,000 worshippers. The mosque is completely clad in marble and features numerous intricate Islamic decorations.
Next you’ll head to the Heritage Village, a small museum in the city center, where you can gain insight into the traditions of the local population before the oil boom. Afterwards you’ll make a short stop for views of the dhow harbor and the famous Emirates Palace.
The tour then continues on to the picturesque waterside promenade that stretches in front of gleaming white mosques, glass-walled offices, and elegant high-rise apartments to the top of the breakwater. From here you can enjoy fantastic view of the city.
Visit, Saadiyat Island, the famous man-made location that’s home to numerous hotels, and will be home to a cultural center with important museums, such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Guggenheim.
Before heading back to Dubai, you’ll visit Yas Island, home to the Formula 1 circuit and Ferrari World.
There is a dress code for the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, requiring modest, conservative, loose-fitting clothing, with long sleeves, long skirts, and trousers. No transparent clothing and no shorts for men or women are permitted. Women's skirts must be ankle length. No tight clothing, swimwear, or beachwear is allowed. A headscarf for women is essential. Intimate behavior, such as holding hands or kissing, is not acceptable in a Muslim place of worship. Please respect the mosque as a place of prayer. Entry will be denied to those dressed inappropriately or acting immodestly.
